The Housing Assistance Recovery Program (HARPSM) is a state-certified housing counseling program that supports homeowners and tenants threatened by foreclosure.
HARPSM helps find permanent solutions that stabilize neighborhoods through proven strategies of prevention, housing assistance and recovery, financial education, referral and advocacy to support families.
HARPSM is state certified by the NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA).
Services:
HARPSM Assistance helps homeowners navigate through foreclosure with loss mitigation and/or mediation with their lender.
HARPSM Recovery
When all other avenues have been exhausted, HARPSM recovery, through a lease and buyback process, assists qualified homeowners to recover ownership of their foreclosed or bank owned property.
